Clinging to the Vine
It is a rainy day and we are thankful to have the moisture for newly planted fields and gardens. This photo captures a raindrop on my grape vine. Our climate does not easily support grape growing, so I've been nurturing the grape vine for the past 5 years. Each spring I am amazed that it has withstood the cold winter. This year is no exception. The leaves are budding out. Each year there are more clusters and larger grapes. This past year I had enough grapes to make jelly; maybe next year, wine?!
As an aside, I liked the natural gradient of color the grass and sky provided.
