Big Island of Hawaii

Reached our first Hawaiian island, which is called the ‘Big Island of Hawaii’ today.

The big island is home to the active volcanoes of Mauna Loa and Kilauea, but thankfully, things were peaceful today.

Got a few steps in today walking into the main town of Hilo … it was rather warm.
