I cheated and opened one of my gifts early. Diane you excelled yourself... my cushion (and all the other lovely things) are brilliant! The amount of work you've put into this is epic and I'll treasure it forever! Thank you! 

I went out to visit my parents... my Mum seemed a bit more chipper today but I really hate seeing her this way. It's not who she is. She's frightened and that is heartbreaking. My Dad is a superstar and doing everything for her. The level of care from external sources is questionable and frankly they need a rocket up their arse.
