HAPPY BIRTHDAY G

G has always celebrated his birthday with the Monarch, sadly that is no longer the case, so he will have to be the only Queen celebrating today!!!!!

Well last night, after we had all retired, I snuck back into the Lounge to festoon it with Birthday decorations - all biodegragable and recyclable including the balloons, which were bought because of that.

After we'd had breakfast opened his cards and presents and was highly delighted with them.  Two further presents and cards arrived by post this afternoon so that was lovely for him.

We are now having a quiet afternoon so G can start reading one of the books he has been given..  We would watch one of the DVDs he had to but sadly our DVD player is still at The Doctors, no idea when it will be returned because it went wrong whilst in warranty so had to go back to the manufacturers via the person we bought it from.
