Comma Butterfly

My first sighting ever of a Comma butterfly. It was flying along the riverside path in Pollok ..... it was quite windy and I had quite a job tracking the butterfly and in full sun it was tricky to focus.  Not the sharpest butterefly photo I have ever taken but I was just so pleased that it was at least in the frame.

A beautiful morning but by early afternoon the clouds had won the battle with the blue sky.
