Steamy blip!

On the spur of the moment this morning, we decided to head to Ravenglass…

We travelled on The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway ( La’al ratty ) up to Dalegarth ( end of the line ). It’s a 15 inch minimum gauge heritage railway.

Nice and dry, but incredibly WINDY!!!

We had plenty of time before the return journey to walk up to Boot, then up on to the fell…great views!

There was loads and loads of gorse everywhere…see ‘extra’.
