Kings Manor
Richard wanted to see how he would cope driving himself to dialysis. We decided I would travel in with him then if all was well I would travel home on the bus.
I diverted to grab a blip on my way to the station to pick up my bus home. I liked this entrance to Kings Manor. The stone surround of the door is Jacobean the coat of arms is of King Charles I. The variety material used in construction hints of how the building has changed over time. It started life as a monastery, was the headquarters of the Council of the north and more recently has been a a centre of education. If you want to learn more I have tried to add a link

As Richard arrived early he started dialysis early so should be home earlier than usual.
I was amused by the notice. Clearly a place of mistaken identity!
