Erythronium Dens-canis Pagoda
At some times of the year, I struggle to find a blip, currently, they are queueing up. Whether I manage to blip them all before they are over is another matter.
I have always known this plant as Erythronium but I gather the common name is "Dogs tooth violet". As Pagoda is yellow I never think of it as a Dogs tooth violet. Native to Europe the leaves are edible but I don't think it would improve next year's flowering.
Just for my records so that I can look back. Wood preserving at the Lodge went very well today. A first coat has been applied to all the black parts. Which is basically the object of the exercise.
