In The Areas The Vehicles Couldn’t Reach

We had a three hour drive from Manuel Antonio to the airport near San Jose this morning. We had a private bus so were able to stop at the crocodile bridge where 10-15 crocodiles live in the river below. The crocodiles were spread across an area which made capturing it in a photograph challenging so we just enjoyed looking instead.

As we passed an area of palm oil plantations, there was a procession of these carts pulled by buffaloes, ready to start work in the areas the vehicles couldn’t reach.

The rest of the 30 hour trip home via Houston and Heathrow was uneventful and tiring.
