Sarah Bernhardt (Petit Palais)

I took today to attend a conference on women sculptors in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The morning sessions were at the Musée d'Orsay and then we moved to the Petit Palais for the afternoon sessions. 

After the papers, we had a tour of the Sarah Bernhardt show at the Petit Palais with one of the co-curators of the show. She was incredibly knowledgeable and the show was really wonderful. I'm planning to go back to see more of it, as the tour focused on just a few pieces, moments and the overall vision for organization of the exhibition.

When I got back J suggested we go out for dinner, and that was really nice too, even if the service at our local bistrot is a bit wonky. Lovely day.
