King of the Hill

Today I picked up my grandson after school. While I was waiting in the pickup line, the principal and a couple of students came by with a basket of baked goods. My grandson said that the bake sale was a fundraiser for homeless people. He said that his teacher told him that even $1 makes a big difference. I love that his school is teaching him the importance of giving.
We went to Laurel Springs for him to play while we waited for his dad to get off work. The kids were having loads of fun, despite the record-challenging heat.
