There is a spring ritual here.... Get your chicks!

Not those chicks....... Real baby chickens....

Eggs are up to $5 per dozen (factory eggs) and fresh eggs are extra special, chicks are in!

You can choose the colour of eggs and the chicken breed so you can select your flock (I like striking egg colours).

The bog standard heating method is a heat lamp but this is a gentle Dutch chick heater, no overheating, consistent gentle heat. The chicks are very happy and are chomping away on their feed.

8 weeks old and they head to coop#2 outside.

Their progress will be tracked.
