After the rain…..

The land, early this morning, was rain-washed and fresh after a damp night. Maisie had a fun walk, playing with some regular doggie friends and chasing rabbits. She got a bit muddy by shoving her face down rabbit holes. Dog paradise.
I picked field mushrooms…. Yum. A feast for me tomorrow. A rainbow greeted us near the end of our walk. Nevertheless despite sunshine, we still had some sun-showers as we walked. The garden was very damp and far to wet for any useful gardening.
