Old stomping ground

Up early this morning and tomorrow morning so we can have an early night on Sunday before a very early rise on Monday to catch a flight to Palma, it’s a hard life. To use the time productively we headed to Linlithgow for a walk round the Loch , Linlithgow Palace and an unexpected vintage car rally . The Loch was busy with fishermen out in rowing boats, but the Peel ( the parkland around the palace) was strangely deserted considering the bright sunshine. I can remember as a child it would be a family outing and usually very busy.
