Blackbird Acrobatics

The rain this morning was relentless….as forecast, so my new mower has remained in its box!

Early afternoon it dried up and I managed to get this shot of a blackbird enjoying a feast from a suet block in the garden. Both the male and the female blackbirds enjoy this caged treat! They are also both quite adept and flitting from the ground up to the coconut shells filled with suet and pecking chunks out!

It was still quite gloomy when I took this..hence the high ISO….so I tried out the new AI noise reduction feature in Lightroom which seems to have done a remarkable job of cleaning up the image. The downside is that it took an age and made the MacBook unusable for anything else!
