Blackcap

I walked down to some woods by the Water of Leith this morning to look for birds. I was following the sound of a chiffchaff when I heard some lovely and complex birdsong, followed it down and saw this blackcap. Very pleased to have managed to get a photo.

The rest of the day has been very quiet, though I'm just about to head out to babysit my friend's two children. Hopefully we will all survive!
