The Port of the Vieux Rhône

There is a channel leading into this sheltered port which is cleaned of rubbish twice a year to keep the natural reserves in the area as plastic free as possible! The rubbish mainly comes in from Lake Geneva during storms. It felt like a good thing to do for the many water birds and beavers on Earth Day which is, apparently, today. My team is in the boat in extra, only older people turned up, a bit of a shame.
