Whinlatter Forest

What a difference a day makes in The Lake District. Yesterday was blue skies, today was constant rain until late afternoon.
Forced myself to go out and finished up in Whinlatter Forest.
I didn’t get too wet and the place was lovely and quiet. The only people I saw were a couple of runners and two lads on mountain bikes.
Called in Keswick on my way back to get something for my tea. There looked to have been a bad accident on the road out to the lake car park. Ambulances, police and fire brigade were all there and the air ambulance was coming in to land. Just hope there wasn’t any fatalities.
