Today we took a trip over the A66 to the Northern Lakes …. and beautiful it was too. We dropped in at the World Marmalade Awards. Never in the history of spreads has so much and have  so many different marmalades been eaten by so many people in such a short space of time … and in such a small space! I believe there were more than 3000 entries and some entries from Japan were accompanied by their makers. The Q&A session was a delight. Who knew there was so much to know about marmalade! After tasting so many marmalades that we now have permanent sugar rush, Mrs K and I settled on our favourites …. see extra.
