Project

The John Martyn Project provided an excellent evening of music at The Live Room in Saltaire. They are a supergroup of sorts, musicians from different bands who come together to share an appreciation of John Martyn’s music. Well worth seeing if you get a chance, they’ll be in Liverpool, Manchester, Southampton, Cumbernauld and Edinburgh over the next couple of weeks. 

A further bonus was bumping into the band after the gig in Fanny’s Ale Bar and having Blythe Pepino compliment my shirt;  her and the rest of the band have an affinity for bold printed patterns as you can see.  I will take my boosts to self esteem wherever I can find them :)
