Big Fen Sky

We have been out to buy a paper and a Radio Times and we carried on for a walk around 'Adventurers' Fen' at Wicken Fen.

We saw a couple of varieties of dragonflies, deer, geese, some black headed gulls were flying back and forth along the course of the lode. There were exotic looking big brown birds swooping from trees, but, as usual, we had forgotten the binoculars and so couldn't identify them.

The sun is out and in spite of a chilly wind it is a lovely day. The chilly wind is drying the washing nicely. I'm off to look at the 10 best asparagus recipes.
