Our Family Complete
Wow what a day! from what started as a very grave concern that something was wrong ended with delight as we welcomed our second son into the family. Mrs Blipper woke up to no movements from the baby at all, which was highly unusual, even with a few pokes nothing. Its only natural to think the worst and after a quick call to the hospital, they said to come in straight away.
To our relief, by the time we reached the hospital he had moved, which quickly allayed all our fears. As Mrs Blipper was a week overdue, they decided to induce her and at 8.30am her waters were broken and she was placed on a drip for inducement. Over the next eight hours, between contractions, sucking on gas and pethadine our ten pound fourteen ounce baby boy was born at 4.30pm.
Childbirth is both a physical and emotional journey, where their inner strengths shine through and I take my hat off to them who endure through it, all in the name of love.
Welcome Alex George...we love you already.
