Dinant's Favourite Son

Stopped off at Dinant this morning - haven't been there before but it always looked so pretty in photos that it was top of my "must see" list. We were actually a little disappointed - it was a grey morning & the narrow one-way streets seemed to have a continuous flow of traffic. Anyway, we had a short (for us) walk, took some tourist shots and got back to the van before the heavens opened.

The sculpture, which is a tribute to Adolphe Sax required some patience, what with people taking selfies against it & the traffic driving on either side, as it's in the centre of the road. It's probably not the best angle but my companions were restless! The extra is the standard shot from the other side of the river, though I suspect the best ones I've seen have been taken from a higher viewpoint.
