Cannon went out to work at 7 until 12 so S and I had a slow morning. When he got home we all went out to yet another garden centre, this one was particularly excellent and I got a new Monstera houseplant. We went food shopping at M&S on the way home, I really don’t find it much more expensive than other supermarkets now and it’s all much better quality. This evening I made dinner including some lamb merguez sausages we picked up at the market yesterday, with some spring greens and asparagus. S was desperate for bed at half 6 so I’m having a nice evening reading Heartburn by Nora Ephron.
