Run, run, run...

Today was the race ( 10.7km) we've been preparing for.... and nearly didn't go because the forecast was so wet and windy! Very pleased we did-wasn't as wet as expected although muddy and slippery (I didn't have the option of using trail shoes-long story!). Love running around the vineyard (200 m + elevation), limited to small numbers, 'green' race = no plastic, leave only footprints, medals from recycled materials and no T shirts but 'beebombs' instead. Very happy to both be 1st in our categories and after a year of injuries for me, I ran it all and was 13th female/ 77.
