In the woods

I was up early today as the road that would normally take me to the Pilates class was meant to be closed for a few hours.  So I decided to leave early taking an alternative route around the commons and then into the gym in Exmouth.  It was a bright sunny cold morning and I enjoyed the ride and stopped at Woodbury Castle for a quick shot of the woods around the hill fort.

I was actually quite early for the class and then found out that the work on the road had been cancelled, apparently due to poor weather.  It actually stayed dry until early afternoon when I had decided to go down to the allotment.  I was determined to prepare an area for the potatoes I need to put in so went out in the rain.  It eventually stopped raining while I was working but it was useful to get the job done.  Its been a sunny late afternoon and evening.
