Dinner guests

This morning Daniel and Viki visited. With cakes!! Woohoo. Viki's mum made the cakes, so lucky us!! We had coffee and chatted in the conservatory. Then Jon had to head off to St George's Day gathering with his scouts and those from the rest of the district.

We went nextdoor to say hello to mum and Rod and chatted for a while. Then Dan and Viki went back to Dan's who was cooking his first roast dinner, and we went back indoors to do Sunday jobs.

Jon got back late afternoon and as the rain was relentless we sat and watched a film. Ladies in Lavender. Then I sorted out roast for 6 of us and invited mum and Rod in. We are now watching Ruby Wax Castaway which looks challenging! We will catch up with Great Expectations tomorrow.

A 3 day week for me, with a weekend away for our anniversary to look forward to.
