RHS

A misty but windless start to the day and a jog around the commons amongst a cacophony of birdsong. My first Willow warbler of this year sang delightfully as they do. A tree creeper danced around an ivy clad oak tree disappearing and reappearing as it spiralled up the trunk. Amongst others I saw or heard Green woodpeckers, nuthatches, goldfinches and as per usual plenty of vociferous little troglodytes (Wrens).
After accompanying auntie to chapel and preparing a leg of pork roast dinner, the sun shone and a wonderful wander around RHS Rosemoor with J was enjoyed.
Extras, orange blossom, jogging along the canal towpath and one of the winning Rhododendron displays.
