HOWAY THE LADS - 6 goals for The Toon

Newcastle had a home game this afternoon against Spurs.  Kick off 2pm. Before the game Spurs were 3 points behind Newcastle in the table so it was a game Newcastle needed to win to stay ahead.

The first half was amazing from a Newcastle fans point of view....................

After 2 mins --- Newcastle scored  ( Murphy)

After 6 mins Newcastle scored again ( Joelinton ) my Extra shows some of the players after this goal had been scored

After 9 mins Newcastle got a third goal ( Murphy again )

After 19 mins Newcastle scored a 4th ( Isak )

After 21 mins Newcastle scored a 5th ( Isak again )

5 goals in 21 mins.  Incredible.  And it was around this time that a lot of Spurs fans decided to leave the stadium and head for home.

Second half.... Spurs got a consolation goal on the 49th minute ( Harry Kane ) and Newcastle got a 6th after 67 mins ( Wilson ).  What a result. 6 - 1 to the Toon. Every Newcastle player had a good game today.  This result keeps Newcastle in 3rd place in the table.

AND Leyton Orient have been promoted as Champions from League 2 and return to League One for the first time since 2014-15.  I follow Leyton Orient as they were the team my late husband supported. He lived in Leyton when he was a child.

And to make the day even more perfect both my buses came on time. Yay!.
