Not Abstract ...

... Thursday.

When I sit on the deck in the morning there is quite often several carpenter bees hovering nearby.  And I've been taking lots and lots of pictures of them.   Most are deleted afterwards ... but I'm rather happy with some of them ... including this one.  This should be good practice for when the hummingbirds finally arrive here.  

Today was simply beautiful so we were able to have a lovely picnic supper out at Graver Arboretum.  We picked up some take-away to eat at the park.  And then had a wonderful walk afterward.  It's great that the daylight hours are increasing as this allows for after dinner walking. 

We were home by 7:00 and then settled in for the night.
