Back at the Ranch

Owned by five brothers, the musician is the only brother who lives in New Mexico...where the ranch is located.  All wheel drive with high clearance is needed to get to the property.
One square mile of desert with no permanent structures. The property was part of a larger ranch once owned by the musician's mother's (Sanchez) side of the family. The Sanchez' were cattle ranchers who,in the "olden days", would ride horses and buggies to the property where they would spend two weeks branding the cattle while camping, sleeping in tents, etc.  One cousin still raises cattle on his inheritance, his property.
