A big celebration

Today was the twins' family birthday party and there were lots of guests and tons of gifts.  The boys wanted to start opening gifts as soon as they came into the house and managed to get hold of two they insisted be opened right away.  I had gotten them a wooden puzzle, a book of stickers, and a set of magnetic monster pieces which they could combine to make an assortment of monsters.  There were also trucks and planes, clothes, books and too many other things to remember.

Nick had made wonderful cupcakes (he is a really accomplished baker) which the twins enjoyed after we sang Happy Birthday to them.  Levi wisely slept through it all, only waking up for a bottle; in Extra you see Nick burping him.  The other Extra is the boys reading with their grandfather.

Everyone had a great time, but it was a bit too chaotic for me.  When it came time to leave, I was glad to go back to the quiet of my home.
