Medieval fortifications

Which used to be a boundary of my home town in medieval times. The tower is a town hall, it marks where the entry gate to Wieluń used to be. It used to be a main market town for the area as far back as 13th century.

Its next claim to fame is being the place where 2nd World War started, German planes bombed Wielun flat around 4am on 1st September 1939.

An amazing surrealist painter called Wojciech Siudmak also comes from Wielun.
