Northern Lights
The news suggested it was to be a good night for seeing the aurora (polar lights or Northern Lights) in the UK that are normally seen in more Northern Countries.
I went out our rear garden at midnight for an hour and took a few frames and the three I've posted are the ones I like most. The main has the moon just above the horizon. Lovely colours that were changing all the time, and as it was a clear night it was great to get the stars as well.
I was lucky and saw a Perseid Meteor shoot over the house and burn up but unfortunately the camera didn't capture it.
Isn't nature amazing?!
