So can you go up or down Mill Street? Well… there is a No Entry sign at the top and a sign which says permit holders can drive up the road for access to Back Street. Fair enough they can’t unpaint the No Entry for a few days. But as I walked up a truck was driving down. Clearly had decided that the signs didn’t apply to him.
But confusion didn’t stop there. The Co-op is undergoing much overdue refurbishment and much of it is cordoned off while new chilled cabinets are installed. So I went to M&S. They’ve decided to totally reorganise what goes where so most of the shelves were empty and the aisles were crammed with goods on trollies. I managed to negotiate around and found at least some of the things I needed.
