Music

I met my friend Flo at the Usher hall for the Sunday Classics. The Iceland Symphony Orchestra was playing Thorvaldsdottir's Metacosmos,
Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 2 with Sir Stephen Hough, Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

Metacosmos was a great discovery for me. I have never heard it live and was absolutely mesmerised for the whole performance.
Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 2 never fails to move me and Sir Stephen Hough performance was phenomenal.
The fifth is not my favourite Tchaikovski but it was totally fitting there. We left the concert feeling at peace and uplifted!
