Treetops
I was thinking of blipping lilac today, as my Discworld-themed calendar reminded me that today is the day to wear lilac (if you were there) but I haven't spotted any.
This blip is an unusual crop because most of the original image was taken up by flowering wild garlic. I was on the point of blipping the whole image but then I realised that I preferred the background to the subject, so out came the crop tool.
While the garlic is very pretty I don't feel it exercises my creativity to photograph it. It's quite possible that I feel that way because I don't photograph flowers often; if I spent more time doing so then I would probably find that there are ways of making them 'different'.
