On the way back from walking the dogs, I spotted these two in a field. Not unusual to see a cow, but pretty unusual to see a crane!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a crane as close to another animal as this.
Usually they are in pairs but I guess the other one is sitting on its nest.
Bright but bitterly cold today, a light snow shower!
