Stormy Water

Huge waves breaking over Tam Hied at the entrance to the harbour at Rosehearty- one of the oldest seaports in Scotland. Alexander 1st Lord Forbes of Pitsligo founded the burgh and provided boats and a harbour for the fishermen - provided that they gave him a fifth of their catch.
