Quick walk with Ali in the sunshine (Unusual for Manchester!) Passed the Andre Rieu convoy on the M6, was thinking what a boring life being on tour must be, travelling from place to place on motorways. Got home, just as it started to rain. It hasn't stopped since. Our lawn is about a foot tall, the building work in full flow, the house in a total filthy, dusty mess, but the potential can now be seen ...... Just need to breath deeply and slowly, and plan our next stay away! A lot of organising and decision making needed before we jump ship again.

Extra is our security for the foreseeable, until windows and doors are in. All we need is better weather, then everything would feel better.
