Coziness in the caravan !!

Everything has been going on today.
Last night there was a heavy rain front with strong winds. It rained heavily from 4 pm yesterday afternoon until 8 am this morning.
There was also a gale force wind. Our friends took down the awning in the storm and rain at 7am this morning.
At 8 o'clock this morning, when it got a bit drier, we took down our awning. Only we were up to the ankles in water. With the wind and the water it was quite an undertaking to break down the awning. After 1 hour we had managed to break it down reasonably undamaged. Only the 3 side panels are wet in a bag in the car. Tomorrow we hope we can dry them.
The weather would improve a bit tomorrow and we actually wanted to go touring the area.
We may want to visit Hillegom and Lisse and the flower bulb fields.
It is cloudy at the moment. We hope tonight is quieter than last night.
Sometimes camping is a real adventure. There are fun and less fun experiences when camping. But the fun moments really have the upper hand.
Let's not spoil the sentence.
