Coot

I went back to Blackford Pond today to take another look at the swan family from yesterday but decided on this photo of a coot instead - I like the underwater feet in particular. You can see the feet better large. He/she was near the nest of the baby coot I blipped a few weeks ago and might well be one of the parents. But sadly I haven't seen the baby again, so I think something bad must have happened.

My kitchen is almost complete as far as the fitting is concerned and I'm really pleased with it. However, there is a huge amount of cleaning up to do, so I don't think I'll blip it just yet - although I do appreciate that the suspense must be almost unbearable for all you blippers out there!
