The virtue of patience in evidence
Chef and I have been busy with the transformation of our gypsy campsite into a fully functioning garden. It was out with the pressure washer, up with the sleeves and on with the serious graft. The garden is finally beginning to look like my vision and the icing on the cake this week was the blooming of the tree peony. I bought this as a dry root plant four and a half years ago and for the first time it has flowered.
It may just be a single bloom but it is the promise of things to come. I think my peony is finally beginning to flourish in it's new home and it's roots are now fully established. A bit like the family McIntosh you could say......
