Tulip

Thankfully we had the wire netting round and over the tulips in time to save them from the deer. They like the succulent little buds.

I walked down to the village to collect the shirt I ordered from the cheapy shop then had a wander before we had a quick lunch before going to Morpeth for our COVID boosters. Instead of waiting for the surgery to sort something out, I went to the NHS website and booked us into Morpeth. We had the same chap as last time. We had the Sanofi which we’ve not had before. It’s a French company.

Hopefully by now the UK will have started evacuating people from Sudan. So far the Brits, apart from government officials who were removed some days ago, have been taken out by French, German and Italian planes. When challenged about this on the radio, the feeble excuse from UK representative was that USA has thousands more there than us and they haven’t got any out. I hope they make a better job of it than they did in Afghanistan.
