Just An Old Softie

Fletcher and I spotted this Florida Softshell Turtle, Abalone ferox, in a pond at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. I didn't realize that it had it's mouth open until I checked the image on camera later! The turtle was about as large as a dinner plate and seemed to be enjoying its sunbathing.
