Room with a view - not quite!

This tree can be seen from my mums hospital bed and looked lovely in the late afternoon sunshine. 

Mum is severely sight impaired and is unable to see just about anything, so I sat and described it in great detail to her. It was wonderful to see her face light up with delight as if she could actually see it. She was obviously remembering a similar tree from her past. 

The past features heavily for mum these days and I’m fortunate to be able to reshare stories with her that she told me years ago.
