Wooden floor

On Sunday, Carina discovered the wooden floor in the side cottage bedroom. I went through to see it on Monday.

It was a laptop day but we got outside for a run and picked some flowers on our way home to put in mum’s room.

She arrived late afternoon, with enough time to walk around the garden and tell me what’s what.

Carina cooked a delicious filled butternut squash and we ate it in front of master chef. Something mum and I will always have in common.
