Going Quackers

Maybe she's laughing because the sun has finally got his hat on. Had a lovely walk around the reservoir and stopped at my favourite hide. MrPN and I were sitting in there peering out of a couple of the little windows when we heard a very loud and angry buzzing. we glanced all around to see where it was coming from and a huge angry insect landed on the window sill in front of my nose - I think it was a hornet but I'm not sure as I've never seen one before but this monster was at least 2inches long and really fat and annoyed. I moved faster than I have moved for many years, I jumped up expelling many words that I won't share with you and headed towards the door. MrPN laughed so much at me that he literally fell off the bench - serves him right! But he did shoo the beastie out of the window so that I could come back. I was in such a hurry to get out the way that I neglected my duty as a blipper and didn't get a shot of it, or MrPN on the floor, but I was very pleased to see it go.
I am very sorry but I am really behind with my comments and I am off to visit my daughter tomorrow, so it might be a couple of days before I catch up.
