Fabulous day 1!

We've had a wonderful day......after coffee and a muffin we headed into town to wander.   Terry needed a hair cut...and wow did she give him a good cropping :)  We had a good laugh :)

I wandered the main street, and went into a couple of galleries.   Bought a lovely little cup made by a local potter....i just have to purchase a piece of local pottery when i'm away :)   A few other places were visited and purchases were made !

After lunch at this wonderful Mediterranean place (see extra for Terry's new haircut)- the food was awesome - we began a lovely leisurely drive around a bit of the area.  It's a bit of a loop - this shot was taken near the tip, Cape George where we stopped to look at the lighthouse.   We were excited to be able to see Cape Breton's land mass from there!   Then onto Ballentyne's Cove where they are really preparing for the lobster season.   See the second extra.   All in all it took us almost 3 hours cos we basically wandered down any little road that looked compelling :)

The sun is finally out and it's beautiful :)
