Got the peanut

Today was a mostly cloudy day with passing showers it was still cool. By evening I was able to get out for a short walk and had few birds greet me for a peanut. It is amazing how close this pair of cardinals comes to me to get a peanut. This cardinal was a little more than a foot away and picked up the peanut and flew off. The female did the same type of move a few minutes before.
